Harvest – Byron Hinterland  

Harvest is a one-of-a-kind local food experience. Their seasonal menus showcase the diversity of the Byron Bay region with fresh produce sourced from small, specialised farmers. Foraging food from their own edible gardens, the native and wild Australian ingredients feature in their signature dishes. In the hinterland village of Newrybar, Harvest is an award winning, hatted restaurant. The wine list features small, conscientious wine-makers and lesser-known Australian varietals. A private dining room is available on request for an intimate and luxurious fine dining experience in a truly unique setting. Bespoke menus can be created for up to 8 guests. Beach Byron Bay

Fine beachside dining with uninterrupted views of the Bay. A relaxed, coastal vibe and a sea breeze with a seasonal menu filled with local flavours. A hatted restaurant, Beach is the perfect way to set the mood for a memorable night to come. Sunset dinners, aperitifs on the deck. Watch the waves roll in and the romance begin. Relaxed Dining with Family or Friends


A place to relax and enjoy good vibes and great food. Set amongst the palm trees and across the road from Belongil Beach, this venue draws inspiration from their beachside location, natural surroundings and beautiful hometown of Byron Bay .

They serve up simple and authentic dishes using locally sourced produce. On the menu you’ll find signature wood-fired pizza, Mediterranean-inspired eats, local brews and fresh cocktails.

Three Blue Ducks

Set on a picturesque 80-acre working farm and macadamia orchard, on the fringe of Byron Bay, Three Blue Ducks’ dining space is rustic yet comfortable. The undercover outdoor patio offers sweeping views from Byron’s hinterland in the west, north to Mt Wollumbin and east to Cape Byron Lighthouse. As much produce as possible is sourced directly from The Farm and delivered to the table in honest, seasonal dishes packed with nutrients and full of flavour. A double spit, wood fire pizza oven and Argentinian grill fires up on weekends and private events. The bar offers 56 taps of all Australian craft beers, wines and ciders and a selection of unique cocktails to cater to all tastes. The wide open spaces are great for letting the kids run and play a little while you relax with friends and a cool drink. Balcony Bay & Oyster Co

Feast among friends. Freshly shucked oysters, creative share plates, signature cocktails and relaxing in the afternoon sun. Overlooking the buzzing main street of Byron Bay, Balcony Bar & Oyster Co. feels like a seaside beach house with lounges on the balcony and relaxing, laid back décor. The heritage-listed building has been newly refurbished. Headed up by award winning Executive Chef and Owner, Sean Connolly, the menu boasts simple, honest, seasonal food from locally sourced and sustainable suppliers. Celebrating great seafood, the oyster bar offers the most diverse oyster menu in Byron Bay with over 30 Australian varieties of freshly shucked oysters. Trattoria Basilico

Authentic Italian kitchen with natural hospitality. Delicious seafood specialties from the coast and meat and pasta dishes from the inland. Trattoria Basiloco is Italian soul food. It’s a warm, friendly feeling here. The element of finesse comes with the Italian chefs and their personal touch with local ingredients. The wine list features a number of exquisite Italian wines. For a tasty lunch, try the traditional style wood fired pizzas. The slow rising dough is made with the best Italian flours to reach the right texture for hand stretching. Let the kids lounge under the umbrellas out the front while you refresh with an Aperol Spritz. Doma Cafe

A modern Japanese Australian fusion café. Head inland to the scenic hinterland village of Federal and drop into Doma for an exciting take on authentic Japanese cuisine. Old wooden benches and shared garden tables fit well with the rustic hillside village, but the elegance of the food and creativity of the menu are a stand out. There’s a small traditional style Japanese doma room inside. This favourite destination for road trippers and locals is often busy, so arrive just a little earlier than lunch and enjoy something wonderfully unique to this region. Walk-in.


No Bones

Dine under the fairy lights in No Bones’ garden setting with beautifully presented vegetarian dishes and pretty cocktails that look a dream. Plating up plant-based food from local farmers and giving the vegetarian diners of Byron Bay and their friends a wonderful option for a feel-good foodie night out. Drop in for happy hour and share a few tapas plates in the garden. Reservations appreciated.


The team behind Yulli’s Brews and Yulli’s Surry Hills opened their third venture Yulli’s Byron Bay. With two of the owners, Karl and Danielle, having lived in the Byron Shire area for a number of years now, it’s a fitting location for the latest Yulli’s establishment. Yulli’s Byron Bay is 100% vegan. The plant-based menu is modern Asian and dishes are matched with a diverse vegan wine list, local spirits and cocktails, plus of course Yulli’s Brews range of craft beers, cider, kombucha and other beverages. Many of their dishes are also gluten free or can be made gluten free on request.
